Welcome to the 2025-26 high school boys basketball season. Thirteen teams in Seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine will look to make a postseason push toward a state championship.
York High School was the lone Seacoast team that played in a championship game last March, falling in the Maine Class B final. Can the Wildcats get back to the final game of the season? Can Portsmouth , one of the pre-season favorites in New Hampshire Division I, contend for its first outright championship since winning back-to-back titles in 2017 and 2018?
There are four Seacoast coaches who have been at their respective schools for more than 10 years, including Exeter's Jeff Holmes (29), Winnacunnet's Jay McKenna (21), Dover's Matt Fennessy (10), and Portsmouth Christian Academy's Derek Summers (10).
