Cape Cod Healthcare has completed construction on its new, dedicated cardiac and inpatient floors — the second phase of its multiyear, $215 million expansion project.

The new units are on the top two floors of the Edwin Barbey Patient Care Pavilion. The bottom two floors, which house the hospital’s updated cancer center, opened this past spring . The health system saw its first cancer patient at the new facility in May, CCHC’s president and CEO Michael Lauf said.
