Dick Van Dyke documentary tells a wonderful story of a hometown boy

DANVILLE — It’s not Hollywood or New York City, but for one night, Downtown Danville, had its place in the entertainment industry.

As part of the FischerFest: Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Dick Van Dyke, hundreds of people braved chilly conditions to line the block around the Fischer Theatre waiting to see the World Premier of “Dick Van Dyke 100th Celebration.”
