Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and announced $17.5 billion investment for India’s Artificial Intelligence or AI first future.
Nadella said investment “largest ever in Asia”, will help the company to build infrastructure, skills, and sovereign capabilities.
“To support the country’s ambitions, Microsoft is committing US$17.5B—our largest investment ever in Asia—to help build the infrastructure, skills, and sovereign capabilities needed for India’s AI first future, ” Nadella added in the post.
