UPDATE 6:16 A.M. - WSDOT says eastbound I-90 has reopened.
NORTH BEND, Wash.-- I-90 is closed west of Snoqualmie Pass due to a mudslide. WSDOT posted an image of muddy water over the highway on X Tuesday morning.
The mudslide has only closed the eastbound lanes. Westbound lanes remain open for now. Updates on reopening the closed lanes are expected later today.
Western Washington has been hit by heavy rain since Sunday, with another round expected later this week. Flood Watches are in effect across the Cascades through Thursday.
WSDOT is also reporting water over the road on State Highway 906 just east of Snoqualmie Pass.
