PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Officials at three Valley school districts are meeting on Tuesday evening as they consider closing several school campuses.

Scottsdale, Gilbert and Kyrene school districts are all meeting as parents and students await a decision on potential closures in the coming weeks.

Scottsdale Unified School District

Leaders of Scottsdale Unified are meeting at 6 p.m. on Dec. 9 at Coronado High School to schedule a vote on the closure of two schools.

Both Echo Canyon School, which serves kindergarten through eighth grade, and Pima Elementary enroll fewer than 300 students. Officials are considering closing the two schools due to their declining enrollment.
