SAN ANTONIO — A two-vehicle crash on the city’s west-side left one person dead and sent both drivers to the hospital Tuesday morning, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.
SAFD said the crash remains an active scene, with crews initially reporting no hospital transports, though later updates confirmed both drivers were taken to University Hospital for treatment and one person died.
The collision happened at the intersection of Culebra Road and Ingram Road around 7:30 a.m.. An eyewitness told KENS 5 that the driver of a Honda Accord was in a lane designated to continue straight on Culebra but attempted to turn onto Ingram, colliding with a white Chevrolet. However, police say they are getting conflicting information from eyewitnesses about who may be at fault for the crash.
