PORTLAND, Ore. — An off-duty Portland police officer has been arrested and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail on charges of strangulation, fourth-degree assault, and harassment.

The charges relate to an incident on November 29, when deputies from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office responded to an incident involving off-duty 27-year veteran Officer Jimmy Pryce, who is assigned to PPB’s North Precinct.

Yesterday, the Portland Police Bureau’s Professional Standards Division was informed of the arrest and has placed Pryce on administrative leave. Tidings Timeline
