FAYETTEVILLE -- A civil lawsuit filed against a former Arkansas Razorback and NFL tight end earlier this year accusing him of sexual assault has been dismissed, according to court documents.

Amanda Baker filed the lawsuit under seal against Jeremy Sprinkle on Sept. 15 and filed a brief in support of her motion under seal Oct. 13, citing privacy and safety concerns. Baker filed a voluntary motion to dismiss her lawsuit Monday, and the motion was granted by Washington County Circuit Judge Beth Bryan.

The motion to dismiss does not say why Baker wanted to drop the lawsuit.

Sprinkle was served with the lawsuit, but never filed a response.

Baker said in court filings she filed the lawsuit under seal to protect her privacy.
