SHEVLIN — The Clearwater County History Center is hosting several holiday events on Saturday, Dec. 13, and Sunday, Dec. 14, at the center, 264 First St. in Shevlin.
The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday for "Kids Day" during the Festival of Trees. Kids are encouraged to view the trees and pick up a treat bag. They can also complete a small craft or two while enjoying a snack, a release said.
The center will be open from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday for its "Taste of Christmas," with demonstrations and samples of several holiday treats — from lefse to kringla.
Attendees will have a chance to meet organizations and families who decorated trees for the 2025 festival during a meet-and-greet in the afternoon.
Admission is free and donations are accepted. For more informat
