Canadian classic rock act Triumph opens its first tour in 30 years in Sault Ste. Marie.

General ticket sales start Friday at 10 a.m. at livenation.com.

Triumph’s hits include Lay It On the Line, Allied Forces and Never Surrender.

Other Canadian stops include Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary before a 14-date swing south of the border starting May 13 in Chicago.

Triumph played Memorial Gardens in 1978, 1980 and 1981 with support from Moxy, Harlequin and Zon. The band also played a 1979 date at Pullar Stadium in Michigan Sault. Article content Article content
