CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Keshaun Williams should be home celebrating his 18th birthday today with his family and friends. Instead, the search for the Cleveland teen continues after more than 900 days.
His grandmothers’ pain shows up in the little things Keshaun Williams misses every day, including the holidays.
“I had just made a banana pudding on Thanksgiving. That’s his favorite,” said Alona Miles, one of Keshaun’s grandmothers. “It was hard for me to eat it. It was real hard,” she said, tearing up.
An empty spot at their table was too much to bear.
Behind all of that pain is strength.
“I feel like they don’t get to steal my joy. And Keshaun’s spirit is living forever,” said Mary K. Williams, Keshaun’s other grandmother.
Miles and Williams still hold out hope they’ll get answers.
