LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A man has been indicted for murder in a downtown Louisville apartment shooting.
Timothy Garmany, 35, was indicted for murder, abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
Garmany was arrested on Tuesday as he appeared in court for another case.
The shooting he is charged in happened on Aug. 19 in the 400 block of South 8th Street.
Louisville Metro Police Department responded to the area around 1:30 a.m. and found a woman shot inside an apartment. The woman, 61-year-old Melinda Doolin, died at the scene.
Garmany's bond is set at $100,000.
