Judge Paul Engelmayer made the ruling after the Department of Justice asked two judges in November to unseal the grand jury transcripts from the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell cases. The order comes after President Donald Trump signed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November.
