The woman who died in a single-vehicle crash Monday was a 25-year-old Berne resident, the Allen County Coroner's Office disclosed today.

Madelyn Brianne Wurster’s died from multiple blunt force injuries due to the crash, a news release said. Her death is the 40th traffic fatality in the county this year.

Her identity was released after notification of family.

The crash occurred just after 6 a.m. Monday in the area of 16800 Irving Road in New Haven, the coroner's release said. Wurster was pronounced deceased on scene.
