SUNBURG, Minn. — Forty-five years ago, almost to the day, the quiet city of Sunburg, Minnesota, was abuzz with law enforcement, including the FBI, all crashing down on the small town on a Friday afternoon.
The reason for the dramatic response? Two men entered the Farmers State Bank building and immediately told everyone inside to get on the ground.
Everyone inside followed the orders, thanks in no small part to the sawn-off shotgun one of them was carrying.
