Dare we hope United can make it a hat-trick of Champions League victories over Bayer Leverkusen? Maybe it's a big ask given the Mags are away which isn't our favourite standing this season but history actually favours us if form doesn't.

However when we beat the Germans home and away by the same 3-1 scoreline more than two decades ago back in 2003 Bobby Robson had assembled a team which would be good enough to finish third top of the Premier League. Let us remember too that Leverkusen were no slouches, having reached the Champions League final the previous season losing to a Zinedine Zidane wonder goal.
