Srinagar, Dec 9: The Jammu Division of Northern Railway on Tuesday announced the operation of a special Vande Bharat train between New Delhi and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) from December 12 to 14, in response to rising passenger demand caused by frequent flight cancellations in the region.

Officials said the initiative aims to provide immediate relief, ensure passenger safety, and offer a reliable travel alternative for passengers affected by disrupted air services. The special train is part of the division’s emergency operational plan activated during high passenger distress.
