CASCADE TWP., MI – Cascade Township residents will get a chance to ask questions and offer feedback on proposed zoning changes that have been met with pushback by the community.
The four open house events will take place from 1-3 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, and 1-3 p.m. and 4:30-6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 8. All events will take place at the Wisner Center at Kent District Library’s Cascade branch, 2870 Jacksmith Ave. SE.
The open house meetings will not include a formal presentation, allowing for more open dialogue and conversation between residents and township officials, the township said .
Cascade Township is working to update its zoning ordinance because township officials say the rules are outdated and do not reflect the community’s goals today.
