Emergency services, including armed officers, rushed to a Manchester area on Tuesday evening. A large cordon was put in place on Clayton Street, in Clayton, on December 9, with police officers and paramedics seen in the area.

Residents also told our sister site, the Manchester Evening News , to have spotted a police helicopter flying over the cordoned area. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
