This recall campaign has quickly become one of the most remarkable political uprisings Alberta has seen in a long while.

On the organizational level, it’s a dazzling effort led by the website Operation Total Recall .

You’d think somebody would be jumping up to take credit. But no, Total Recall evokes total silence on the party level.

Most of the riding recall efforts have a leftist tilt that hinges on the teachers’ strike, the back-to-work order, and the use of the notwithstanding clause .

It’s all red meat for the New Democrats. The UCP blames them every day.
