A citizen assisted a Haldimand County OPP officer to make an arrest on Monday evening.
Police were called to a Caledonia address at about 8 p.m. on December 8, regarding an individual who was potentially breaching a court order. The accused was located shortly afterward. Police say the person was found to be in non-compliance of a release order.

Police say the accused resisted while being taken into custody at which time a bystander provided assistance to the officer.
An 18-year-old Caledonia resident has been charged with resist peace officer, and three counts of fail to comply with a release order. The accused remains in custody and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cayuga on December 10, 2025.
