HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. —

An Elizabethtown couple appeared in court Tuesday to answer to charges after they reportedly threw a man off a balcony.

Shawn and Nancy Durbin appeared in court from the Hardin County Jail.

According to police, the couple threw Bobby Pennington from their second-floor apartment last month.

The 62 year old died from his injuries four days later.

The Durbins will be back in court in January.
