CreateOn has recalled sets of magnetic building cubes because they contain magnets that are hazardous to children.
The CreateOn Crayola-branded Pip Cubes were sold at Michaels stores nationwide and online at Michaels and Amazon from May 2025 to July 2025, according to an announcement with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
The cubes “contain magnets that can become loose if the seams separate, posing an ingestion hazard to children.
“When high-powered magnets are swallowed, the ingested magnets can attract to each other, or other metal objects, and become lodged in the digestive system. This can result in perforations, twisting, and/or blockage of the intestines, blood poisoning and death,” the commission said.
