MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A shooting along Getwell Road in the Parkway Village area has left one person fighting for their life Tuesday night.

A spokesperson for the Memphis Police Department reports that officers were dispatched to the scene at Getwell near Arrowhead Road at 6:23 p.m.

The victim was located not far from where shots were fired at the Wendy’s located at 2811 Getwell.

MPD says the victim was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

Police have set up crime scene tape around the restaurant where the victim was found, but the department spokesperson clarifies that the shooting did not occur on the restaurant’s property.

No suspect information is available at this time.
