Officials: Denying proposed LR solid waste rate hikes would lead to more missed garbage pickups

The failure of a proposal to increase Little Rock solid waste rates would lead to more missed garbage pickups because of the age of the vehicles in the city's fleet, the Little Rock Board of Directors was told on Tuesday.
