MARION — Williamson County commissioners approved a slate of highway projects Tuesday, including resurfacing work, trail development and the removal of an aging mine-bridge structure, advancing several major initiatives for the county’s transportation network.

Commissioners first approved a roughly $2 million motor fuel tax maintenance resolution for 2026. County Engineer George Shepard said the allocation will cover materials, equipment, labor reimbursements and planned road improvements across the county.
