MINNEAPOLIS — More than 100 crashes, including 15 with injuries, have been reported across the state after a potent clipper-type system dumped several inches of snow on parts of Minnesota Tuesday.

The Minnesota State Patrol said it responded to 156 property damage crashes from noon to 9:30 p.m. and 220 vehicles off the road. Officials also reported 10 spinouts and five jackknifed semis as snow continued to fall on parts of the metro.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation reported several highways as " completely covered " with snow as of 8 p.m. Tuesday.
