BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A woman has been arrested after shooting someone at a hotel in Baton Rouge, police said.
The woman, Anijah Rogers, 18, has been locked up on charges of attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.
The shooting happened on Wednesday, November 19, on Gwenadelle Drive, authorities said.
The victim told investigators that Rogers chased him around the hotel with a firearm, according to an arrest report. The victim added that when he tried to run up some stairs to the second floor, Rogers shot him in the leg.
Police said they obtained video footage that corroborated what the victim told investigators.
Rogers has been booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
