A Lancaster County man will spend up to 10 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing enough fentanyl to kill more than 11,000 people, according to the county district attorney’s office.
In April 2022, detectives with the Lancaster County Drug Task Force found 34-year-old Sadi A. Corretger, of Columbia, with 23.35 grams of fentanyl in a home on the 2400 block of Rob Drive in Mount Joy.
Corretger’s arrest was the culmination of a year-and-a-half-long investigation that included several narcotics purchases at the home, the DA’s office said. Police also found drug paraphernalia and packaging materials at the address.
Prosecutors noted 2 milligrams of fentanyl is enough to kill a normal person. That means Corretger was in possession of 11,675 lethal doses.
