WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg stayed within striking distance early, but a strong second half by Bluegrass United proved to be the difference during a 61-28 setback for the Lady Yellow Jackets on Tuesday.
Bluegrass United led 12-9 after the first quarter and used a 15-6 second-quarter run to build a 27-15 halftime advantage. The lead grew to 46-20 by the end of the third quarter as Bluegrass United’s offense heated up.
