BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo Fire Department is looking for the cause of a fire in the Seneca-Babcock Neighborhood.

Officials tell 2 on your side, Crews responded to 125 Gilbert Street just before 6:30 Tuesday Night, to find a fire burning the rear step-down of the two-store home.

The fire spread throughout the home, causing $200,000 in damage to the structure, and $100,000 in damage to the contents.

BFD says The American Red Cross is helping two adults who were living the home's front apartment, and three adults who were living in the read apartment.

The cause is under investigation.
