MANCHESTER, N.H. —

The Londonderry Police Department is asking the public to avoid the area of Mammoth and Rockingham roads as officers investigate a possible armed suspect near a gas station.

News 9 is on scene and sees dozens of police cruisers from Londonderry and other departments near the Mobile gas station.

Police said the report of an armed suspect stems from an incident that took place in a neighboring town.

Roads in the area have been shut down for public safety.

According to authorities, the person of interest has been contained in a vehicle.
