LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 News Now) — The Kentucky Wildcats bounced back from their back-to-back losses with a 36-point win over North Carolina Central. The Wildcats led by more than 20 points throughout the second half en route to the 103–67 victory.
After a slow start, during which the Cats led by only four at the under-12 timeout, they finished the first half on a huge run to take a 21-point lead into the halftime break.
Jasper Johnson had a career high with 22 points, which was also a game high. Otega Oweh also set a season high in points with 21 and was tied for a game-high seven rebounds.
The Wildcats also set a season high in assists with 27. They were led by Colin Chandler who finished with eight on the game.
