The Air Intelligence Unit (AIU) of the Pune Customs Commissionerate (Pune Zone) seized hydroponic marijuana valued at approximately ₹2.29 crore at Pune International Airport on Monday.

Officers arrested one passenger who arrived from Bangkok on IndiGo flight 6E-1096 after contraband was found hidden in his luggage.

According to officials, the seizure followed detailed profiling by the AIU team. A search of the passenger’s check-in bag led to the recovery of two airtight, sealed packets containing , a premium-grade marijuana variety grown using controlled hydroponic systems.
