CLEVELAND, Ohio - RTA’s Cleveland State Line will be no more, but the same bus service will continue on the same routes through the West Side and western suburbs.
The Cleveland State Line will simply be known as the No. 55, following the school’s decision to end its sponsorship agreement that paid the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority nearly $1.7 million over 10 years.
RTA said Tuesday that the change will occur gradually, starting next month. There are three variations of the route, all starting at Cleveland State downtown and crossing through Lakewood, before continuing west to different end points :
