CLEVELAND, Ohio — Three men are charged with funneling large amounts of methamphetamine from Mexico to Cleveland, according to federal prosecutors.
Josue Melendez organized shipments of multiple pounds of meth to Cleveland for Calvin Locke, according to an indictment unsealed on Wednesday in federal court in Cleveland.
Locke, 53, of Cleveland, sold the drugs to street dealers and laundered money through a fake business he set up called Locke and Goldstein LLC, prosecutors said. The business’s listed address is a home in Bedford Heights.
Locke is charged with conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and money laundering. Melendez, 35, of Yuma, Arizona, and Carlos Escareno, 30, of Yuma, are charged with conspiring to deal meth.
