BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Google Play Store users could receive a portion of a $700 million antitrust settlement.

Vermont’s Attorney General Charity Clark was a key player in getting preliminary approval for this settlement.

It will head to court on April 30.

If approved, users will automatically receive payments through PayPal or Venmo.

If you made a purchase on the Google Play Store between August 2016 and September 2023, you’re eligible for payment.

There will be a supplemental claims process after the automatic payments go through if you don’t have PayPal or Venmo and don’t want to make an account, if you no longer have access to the email or phone number associated with your Google Play account, or if you were expecting to receive payment but didn’t.
