CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Parkland College and Champaign Unit 4 are teaming up to create a new Early Transfer Academy (ETA) program.

Unit 4 said in a press release that the ETA will launch in summer 2026, where certain Unit 4 high school students can earn their diploma and the General Education Core Curriculum certificate from Parkland.

ETA will provide a four-year pathway program that will include AP courses, dual credit courses taught in high school, along with college classes taken at Parkland.

Students can fulfill gen ed requirements in social sciences, fine and applied arts, humanities, communication, physical and life sciences and math, according to Unit 4.
