SRINAGAR, Dec 09: The Economic Offences Wing of the Crime Branch Kashmir has submitted a chargesheet in FIR No. 18/2025 before the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Srinagar, against four individuals implicated in a land fraud case u/s Sections 420, 467, 468, 471, 201, and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.

The chargesheet names Shabir Ahmad Ganie, Bashir Ahmad Ganie, Javeed Ahmad Hakak (then Pathwari), and a deceased Pathwari, accusing them of preparing and using forged land documents to defraud innocent buyers.

The case arose from a joint complaint by multiple victims who had purchased eight kanals of land through brokers & of the total, four kanals were allegedly transferred in the name of one complainant under Khasra No. 92, two kanals under Khasra No. 99 for another complainant, an
