SALT LAKE CITY — Special investigators with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office in Arizona are hoping to identify a man whose body was found near Lake Havasu City on Oct. 7, 2000.

In a press release provided on Tuesday, Mohave County Sheriff Doug Schuster said boaters found the “severely decomposed body” in a cove approximately three miles north of Sandy Point Marina near Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

At that time, the victim was estimated to be between 20 and 40 years of age. He is describe as a white male, 5 ft. 10 in. He had a mustache and brown hair. He was wearing blue jeans, and Reebok sneakers.

Notably, he wore a t-shirt with a “Hot Boat Magazine” logo printed on the back of the shirt.
