BATAVIA — The City and police union have a four-year labor agreement that will give employees annual raises and ensure recruitment and retention of officers.

The City Council Monday approved a resolution for a pact with the Police Benevolent Association (PBA) to start April 1, 2026 and end March 31, 2030. The current labor agreement ends March 31, 2026.
