SRINAGAR : Police in north Kashmir’s Sopore solved a theft case within 24 hours of its registration and arrested the accused following a swift investigation on Wednesday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

The case had been filed at Police Station Sopore by Syed Salah Ud Din, Manager of Shadowfax Logistics at Ashpeer, who reported the theft of mobile phones from the facility. An FIR under relevant provisions was registered and inquiries began immediately.

Police examined several individuals linked with the premises. During the process, a suspect identified as Afaq Ahmad Ahanger, son of Suna Ullah Ahanger of Amberpora Tarzoo Sopore, was called for questioning. He confessed to committing the theft.
