Free agent outfielder Cody Bellinger gaining interest from Team USA

Free agent outfielder Cody Bellinger is being scouted by Team USA to join them for the World Baseball Classic in March 2026, per New York Yankees insider Jack Curry .

Bellinger remains a free agent so far through the first month of the offseason. He spent the 2025 with the Yankees, and was a key piece for them, hitting .272 with 29 home runs and 98 RBIs, while also displaying his versatility on defense, showing flashes of the former MVP capabilities in him.
