: Deputy Chief Minister in-charge PWD (Roads) Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday reviewed the proposed construction of the flyover and new bridge projects in the city.
Speaking to the media after chairing the meeting, Tynsong said the Centre has agreed in principle to extend the length of the flyover to Barik point instead of ending it till the old Anjalee petrol pump junction.
“(As per earlier) proposal the flyover will end up to the old Anjali petrol pump junction but ultimately when we requested the government of India for extension of the flyover (till Barik point), they agreed in principle,” he said adding “Now even the land issue, the design of the flyover are being workout and being prepared by NHIDCL which will be disposed of up to Barik.”
