Rakesh Kishore, the lawyer who hurled a shoe at former chief justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai, got a taste of his own medicine at Delhi's Karkardooma Court on Tuesday, December 9.

In the video shared on social media platforms, Kishore can be seen taking evasive action as an unidentified man throws slippers in his direction.

Kishore is heard questioning the man's motive and then proceeding to chant " Sanatan dharm ki jai ho " as several lawyers come to his rescue.

Kishore had tried to hurl a shoe at former CJI Gavai on October 7, alleging that the latter had hurt the sentiments of the Hindu community with his remarks on Lord Vishnu.
