Two of India’s biggest batting stars, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, have been in excellent form recently and it’s reflecting on the latest ICC ODI Rankings for batters. While Rohit has maintained his grip over the top spot, Kohli has cut down the gap with his teammate to just eight rating points as he climbed up two spots to become world No. 2.

Besides Kohli, another India batter in KL Rahul has moved upwards from 14th to 12th spot. Shubman Gill, who missed the recent ODI series against South Africa due to an injury, remains static at No. 5, but Shreyas Iyer, recovering from an injury, is dropped out from the top 10 to be placed at 11.
