Srinagar, Dec 10: A 25-year-old Nepali national working as a domestic help was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sanat Nagar, Srinagar, on Wednesday, officials said.

Official sources said, a police party from Police Station Saddar brought the individual to SMHS Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased has been identified as Rajan Singh (25), son of Nerooj Singh, resident of Dagri Boriya, Nepal. He was reportedly working as a servant at the residence of Gulzar Ahmad Sheikh, son of Habibullah Sheikh, a resident of Housing Colony, Sanat Nagar, Srinagar.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and necessary medico-legal formalities are underway. Further investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death. (KNC)
