Drivers travelling on the M6 faced delays this morning following a crash between a van and car.
The smash happened near to Junction 11a, Saredon Interchange, on the southbound carriageway in Staffordshire .
Emergency services were called to the scene at 4.46am today (December 10).

National Highways West Midlands reported that traffic on the southbound carriageway was being held at 5.38am.
West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) sent one ambulance to the scene.
Paramedics treated one patient, a man, who was discharged at the scene.
The highways agency said that all lanes reopened at 6.47am.
