Visit Canton has launched a new Stark County history trail to support America 250 , an effort designed to celebrate the nation's 250th anniversary next year.

The Stark Stories History Trail features a digital passport guiding people to historic landmarks, Ohio history markers, public art and other sites throughout the county.

In addition to highlighting some well-known sites such as the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Clearview Golf Club in Osnaburg Township and First Ladies National Historic Site, it features lesser known locations such as Deer Creek Quaker Cemetery in Lexington Township, Mabel Hartzell Historical Home in Alliance and The Little Steel Strike of 1937 marker in Massillon.
